Essential Running Tips

  • Never skip your warm-up exercises

  • Proper nutrition and hydration are essential for peak performance

  • Don’t compare your running style to that of other runners. We all have different gaits, different pace, and unique running goals.

  • Before a race, include 2-3 days of run-specific training

  • Depending upon your conditioning, an alternating run/walk approach is OK!

  • Remember to have fun on your run and enjoy every mile, even if it’s only one.
