Grand Challenge  -- How Far Will You Go?
 

The GRAND CHALLENGE,  a year-long group of running events that you can RUN, WALK, OR JOG at the location of your choice.  Participate in any one or all of the four Grand Challenges: 100 miles, 250 miles, 500 miles, or 1000-mile distances.  You choose!  Challenge yourself at your own pace and accommodate your personal goals. You have an entire year to complete your personal challenge, beginning January 1 through December 31, 2023, but you can register for any distance whenever you choose.  The challenge is yours!

Regardless of your current fitness level, your background, or your age, the GRAND CHALLENGE is an opportunity to set new goals, achieve your personal best, and make 2021 a truly memorable year.  Each Challenge participant receives a unique and stunning medal, a designer tech shirt, and a commemorative bib celebrating your achievement.  We will provide you with all the tools you need to track and report your miles, monitor your progress, and stay motivated all year long!!

The beneficiary of this event is the Special Olympics whose mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, giving them opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship.
